Bob SimonBob Simon

The Somers Point Jazz Society is very saddened to announce that one of our biggest supporters and friends has passed away. Bob Simon, president of Just Four Wheels, passed on October 18th, leaving an enormous void in our hearts.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Bob was raised in Pittsburgh and graduated in 1950 from Taylor Allderdice High School. He served in the United States Army and attended the University of Pittsburgh on the G.I Bill. He had been a Northfield resident for 20 years and prior to that lived in Vineland. Mr. Simon was a member and supporter of Congregation Beth Israel in Northfield. He also enjoyed supporting the Somers Point Jazz Society. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Susan Mallinger Simon, two sons, Bradley S. Simon (Sharron) of Margate and Bryant Simon (Ann Marie) of Philadelphia, PA, four grandchildren, Rebecca and Max Simon and Benjamin and Eli Simon, one brother, Sidney Simon of MA. He was predeceased by a brother, Cyril Simon and a sister Dorothy Golomb.

Bob, you will be missed…
