Our Mission Statement
To advance and facilitate the promotion, presentation, education, and appreciation of the unique and diversified American musical art form of jazz music in Somers Point and the surrounding communities of Southern New Jersey

To be the most successful and highly regarded jazz society in the region
KUDOS to Our Audiences
Recently we had contacted several musicians who have played various Somers Point Jazz Society events. Our purpose was to elicit any opinions about how well we are doing in presenting the music.
Guitar great, Bob Devos, said, “It’s great to play for an enthusiastic, knowledgeable & appreciative audience.”
In a recent conversation we had with George Mesterhazy & Brian Betz they found “our audiences tend to be more attentive and respectful than most”.
Also previously Barbara Montgomery had this to say
"What a wonderful event. The venues are so intimate and the audiences
are very respectful of the artist. It reminded me of the times that I performed
in Europe."
You (the audience) are a major contributor to our efforts to showcase this music.
This sentiment is shared by many of the artists that have performed here in Somers Point, so please take a bow.
